This is the layout I taught at Studio J Boot Camp!

Watch my tutorials to learn these techniques or schedule a one-on-one Studio J session with me.

There are so many benefits to memory keeping the Studio J way!

I love that Studio J allows us unlimited My Stickease and embellishments. We can even resize them...can't do that with our classic supplies.

Use Studio J to create hybrid pages.

Let me show you how to dress up a Studio J page with a little bling! I added Bitty Sparkles to this page.

Let your creativity shine with Studio J!

Take my face-to-face classes or watch my video tutorials to learn advanced Studio J techniques such as creating your own background paper using text boxes.

Studio J is your best friend if you are short on time.

Drop in your photos, color the toggle accents, add a title and journaling, print...it really is that easy! Let me show you how.

My Free JPG Image

I'm so excited about this layout!  I can't wait to get the actual prints, because I'm going to add lots of Bitty Sparkles to add texture and continue the space theme.  These photos were taken at the Star Trek 40th Anniversary Convention in Seattle.  (Kit:  Stardust ~ Pattern:  Front & Center ~ Kit Mix 3 ~ Techniques:  rotated right page, changed color of patterned paper to black, converted photo well to journaling area & title area to photo well, modified title & focal photo in Photoshop, added text boxes filled with pattern paper & cardstock to create Star Trek design, minimal embellishments since I plan to add bling later!)

Don't forget that you can get your own FREE JPG today!  I hope you'll enter it into my contest, too.

Creating Stitched Patterns on Cardstock Tutorial

The Close To My Heart Art Department created this darling layout to advertise the June Free-for-All special and lots of people want to recreate the look.  This video shows you how to use My Stickease as a guide for stitching a pattern, crop/resize borders to get a perfect scallop edge, add extra matting to a focal photo, modify the intensity of patterned paper by changing the color (even though the color is the same as the original paper!), create a bow and "wrap" ribbon around paper, and place My Stickease across two pages.  I hope you will let me know what you think by leaving a comment here or on my YouTube channel.

June Free-for-All

Close To My Heart amazes me!  First they created Studio J, a FREE online scrapbooking studio.  Then they populated the studio with their papers, patterns, and embellishments for FREE.  When I didn’t think it could get any better, they came up with the June Free-for-All promotion.  Sign up for a FREE Studio J account, create a layout, add it to your cart, order the FREE JPG image, and download the files to your computer…it’s that easy!

Throughout the month, I’ll give you little tips about what you can do with the two high resolution images that come in your JPG zip file, so check back here often.  You’ll also receive a low-resolution photo perfect for emailing or posting on the Internet.

Speaking of posting, I’m running a contest this month, and the prize is a FREE Studio J 5-pack!  This prize is valued at $55 and will allow you to order 5 Studio J layouts and includes FREE shipping and page protectors.  Check back tomorrow and I’ll share the details of how you can win this amazing prize.  For now, log on to Studio J and start creating your layout!

Until next time,
Happy Scrapping!
