Why I’m
Thankful for Studio J #1—Text Boxes
I’ve
talked about text boxes a lot in my tutorials, but this simple tip bears
repeating, because it makes Studio J such a versatile program. I can use text boxes to create journaling
strips, ribbon clusters, change the shape of my layout, and mat photos. I can rotate text boxes, send them behind
photos and other text boxes, and layer as many as I want. I can fill text boxes with vellum, cardstock,
and patterned paper. I can even leave my
text boxes transparent so that I can place text or distressing on top of
photos. Text boxes are our friends, so
watch this quick tip and then log in to Studio J to try it yourself!

I have 16 pages done on Studio J and today I am placing my first order. I am very excited and can't wait to put them in my book.

So happy I found your page! Studio J has been my saving grace in staying on top of scrapbooking my daughter's many milestones. New tricks are always nice to learn and pass on to my customers!
Who would have known that a text box can be used from so many different techniques? Adding distressing to your photos and creating a mat without decreasing the size of your photo. Awesome!
Pretty cool-I have used the right click "move to the front" or "move to the back" but didn't know that you needed to select it up to 9 times. Thank you for making this tutorial.
I love your Studio J techniques. I become a bigger fan of Studio J every time I read your blog. Thanks so much for sharing
